Hey everyone! Welcome back to another mile over here on The Lifestyle Mile blog page! I am super excited for this fall season, so I thought a great way to kick off this fall season is with a fall bucket list! Today, I will be sharing many autumn-inspired things to do during this season! Without further ado, let’s get right into it because I am so excited! Read and get inspired… (some of these may be altered or different due to COVID-19)


  • Have a bonfire

  • Go to fall festivals or harvest events

  • Go pumpkin picking 

  • Go apple picking 

  • Have a pumpkin carving contest

  • Roast marshmallows 

  • Go stargazing 

  • Try out all the pumpkin spice and fall-themed snacks/food and desserts 

  • Watch Halloween/fall movies

  • Go thrifting 

  • Make a DIY fall wreath

  • Enjoy a PSL

  • Go through a corn maze

  • Have a fall photoshoot

  • Rake leaves, create a pile, and jump into them

  • Go on a hayride

  • Create fun, fall outfits 

  • Have a Halloween party with friends and family 

  • Bake pumpkin cookies 

  • Bake a pie 

  • Bake fall muffins 

  • Go geocaching 

  • Go to the library 

  • Go camping 

  • Go on a drive with windows down and music

  • Go to a farmer’s market 

  • Light fall-themed candles 

  • Offer to rake neighbors leaves 

  • Eat candy corn 

  • Go to a farm 

  • Try knitting 

  • Wear cozy sweaters 

  • Go to a haunted house 

  • Carve pumpkins 

  • Make pumpkin seed snack 

  • Go on a road trip 

  • Go to football games (it’s football season)

  • Decorate your house with fall and Halloween decor 

  • Put on a traditional fall outfit that may include a sweater, flannel, jeans, beanie, and boots/uggs

  • Drink apple cider 

  • Go on a hike 

  • Make a “thankful for” list 

  • Go camping in your backyard

  • Make pumpkin bread

  • Have a picnic outdoors
