FALL BUCKET LIST 2022



Welcome!

Hey everyone! Welcome back to another mile here on The Lifestyle Mile blog page! Fall is finally here!! I cannot wait to enjoy this cozy season with all of the delicious pumpkin-flavored treats, the colors of nature, the warm cute clothes, and of course Halloween and Thanksgiving!! Stick around if you want to make the most of your fall season with these fun activities!


But first a quick personal update...

If you haven't noticed, my blog uploading schedule has been all over the place. To be honest, I have never been busier in my life. As a senior in high school, I am deep into the college application process, working at a restaurant on the weekends, keeping up with AP high school senior courses, running a service project, and partaking in the day-to-day "to-do" lists. Needless to say, I have had very little time to do what I am truly passionate about, my blog. So after over a month of no posting, I have a very exciting upload for you... a FALL BUCKET LIST! That's right ladies and gents, it's officially the pumpkin spice season! Woooo! Without further ado, let's just jump right into it!


 

For Halloween:

  1. Admire all of the Halloween decorations in public

  2. Visit a landmark such as Salem and enjoy the Halloween spirit

  3. Visit a local Halloween festival/event

  4. Re-watch nostalgic Nickelodeon/Disney Halloween episodes

  5. Get your Halloween costume... don't forget one for your pet!

  6. Attend or host a Halloween party/gathering

  7. Find the best Halloween movies and enjoy them with friends and family

  8. Participate in a pumpkin carving contest

  9. Light a candle, put on a Halloween movie, and have a relaxing pumpkin carving night

  10. Sit by the fire and tell ghost stories

  11. Decorate your house with fall/Halloween decor

  12. Create a Halloween/fall wreath

  13. Get ready for trick-or-treaters

  14. Go trick-or-treating

  15. Enjoy Halloween candy


For Fall:

  1. Visit an apple orchard

  2. Visit a pumpkin patch

  3. Roast marshmallows by the warm fire while listening to a Halloween playlist

  4. Stargaze on a clear night, admire the beauty of the sky

  5. Try out some new or existing pumpkin-spice flavored treats

  6. Go shopping or thrifting for cozy sweaters

  7. Choose your favorite Pinterest Halloween/fall-themed DIY craft and give it your all!

  8. Try out a Pumpkin Spice Latte

  9. Challenge yourself to a corn maze

  10. Pick out your favorite cozy, fall-themed outfit and wear it

  11. After raking leaves with friends or family, gather them up into a pile and jump into them like a kid

  12. Go on a hay-ride

  13. Bake your favorite fall recipe

  14. Try out geocaching

  15. Go camping and enjoy the changing nature around you

  16. Attend a local farmers' market

  17. Light your favorite fall-scented candle and take in all of the warm vibes

  18. Rake a neighbor's yard

  19. Visit your local zoo or farm

  20. Take on a knitting or crochet project

  21. Go to your local haunted house

  22. Watch or attend a football game

  23. Tailgate at a football game

  24. Dive into a fall-themed wardrobe consisting of sweaters, UGGS, flannels, jeans, hats, and more!

  25. Go on a nature hike or walk

  26. Have an outdoor picnic consisting of delicious treats such as apple cider donuts, pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, apple cider, and more!

  27. Set aside an evening to make caramel apples and give them out to family and friends

  28. Bake pumpkin seeds

  29. Go on a bike ride

  30. Open windows and let the crisp cool fall air in, enjoy it!

  31. Delivery a fresh pie to family and friends

  32. Purchase a fall/Halloween-themed puzzle and finish it by the end of the season

  33. Get cozy with blankets and host a game night with family and friends

  34. Make a scarecrow

  35. Do a closet clean-out, and donate what you don't use anymore!

  36. Run a 5k

  37. Participate in or host a scavenger hunt

  38. Fly a kite

  39. Donate to a food bank

  40. Volunteer in your community

  41. Arrange a fall bouquet

  42. Do a random act of kindness

  43. Cook a new dish

  44. Look through family albums with your loved ones

For Thanksgiving:

  1. Create a Thanksgiving turkey DIY

  2. Create a grateful jar and pass it around during your Thanksgiving gathering

  3. Host a friends-giving

  4. Express your gratitude

  5. Watch the Macy's Day parade

  6. Write down what you are thankful for

  7. Go Black Friday Shopping

  8. Enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal with your loved ones

  9. Next comes Christmas... start preparing for your Christmas card!
