My FAV Mood-Boosting Activities!

Hey everyone! Welcome back to another mile here on The Lifestyle Mile blog page! Today I will be sharing my favorite mood-boosting activities!   1. Go outside barefoot and enjoy nature!! My new favorite thing is to simply take a quick break from any stress-inducing activity and step outside barefoot. When you are outside barefoot, try your best to tune into the Earth's core. Ground yourself to the earth and be present in nature. Even take a few deep breaths. This can be so healing for the soul.

  2. Get yourself a huge bowl of fruit, grab a blanket and a drink, and head outside for a bit!! Leave your phone behind, choose a comfortable spot in your backyard, and layout your blanket. Be present. Enjoy your big fresh bowl of fruit and enjoy the nature surrounding you.

  3. Meditate! Leave all of your distractions behind and close your eyes. Start with just a few controlled breathes. In through your nose and out through your mouth. Take it slow and simply notice how you are feeling. Be present. You could even grab some headphones and put on a guided meditation YouTube video if you are having trouble getting started.

  4. Journal! Get your closest notebook and pen and simply write down what is on your mind. Jotting down just a few thoughts can be so healing. By getting out your thoughts and feelings, you will feel clear and light. You got this!

  5. Surround yourself with the people you love and make you happy! Grab the people who you feel good around and watch your mood improve. The people around you are there for you, love you, and support you the most.

  6. Dance and move your body! Dig deep into your playlist and play the song that brings you the most joy. Now, get up and dance! Even if you don't feel like it, just dance and sing along! Move your body!

  7. Clean your surroundings! Cleaning your surroundings will leave you feeling clear and fresh. Even if you don't wanna, use your discipline and make yourself do it! You will thank yourself later... trust me!
