Welcome back to the lifestyle mile blog page! Today I am bringing you another super delicious and easy breakfast recipe! Vegan banana oat pancakes!! I found these pancakes on Pinterest and I had to try them out!
All you need are a few ingredients and a blender. When I made them, I cut the recipe in half because it was the perfect portion for me! I will link the Pinterest original recipe at the very bottom in case you want to check it out, and with that being said, let me tell you about this amazing vegan pancake recipe!
Note: Again, I did cut this recipe in half, so if you want the full portion, DOUBLE these amounts in the following steps.
The ingredients you will need are…
½ cups of gluten-free rolled oats
¼ cup of almond milk
1 tablespoon of maple syrup
½ a ripe banana
½ teaspoon of vanilla
⅛ cup of salt
In the original recipe, they suggest adding baking powder as an optional choice but I did not add it and I found it did not change the recipe.
Step one: Grab out your blender (I used the ninja single serve blender), measuring cups, a pan, and spatula.
Step two: Begin adding in your ingredients to your blender. ½ cups of gluten-free rolled oats, ¼ cup of almond milk, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, ½ a ripe banana, ½ teaspoon of vanilla, and ⅛ cup of salt.
Step three: Blend all of your ingredients until the mixture is well blended and smooth.
Step four: Spray your pan and pour your mixture onto the pan. Cook for about 2-4 minutes on each side over medium heat or until golden brown. Repeat this until all your batter/mixture is gone.
Step five: Plate your pancakes and serve with toppings of your choice and enjoy!!
